Chippewa County is located in the eastern Upper Penninsula
of Michigan, and is part of the First
Congressional District of the Michigan
Democratic Party.
There are five Regions in the First
District. Region 3 includes the counties of: Chippewa,
Mackinac, Emmet, Cheboygan, Charlevoix, Otsego and
Antrim
Chippewa County is the second largest
county in the First District, by population. It also
contains the second largest city in the First District;
Sault Sainte Marie. |
